Effie with SLIM

Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing became the Franchisee of Effie Awards in Sri Lanka and held the inaugural awards show in 2008, which was an overwhelming success. The main aim of SLIM to bring the Effies into Sri Lanka was to build a culture in the advertising fraternity to be more accountable, through the production of effective communication, whilst not limiting it to creativity. We believe that the most important objective of communication is to achieve the brands objectives of organizations to build brand equity and thereby a consistent stream of revenue. Therefore, it is our intention is to recognize the clients, marketing organizations as well as the advertising agencies, which produce such remarkable campaigns.
